The
aim of this course is to provide students with a basic knowledge of medical
physiology. In the content of the course; homeostasis, physiology and
thermoregulation and body fluids, Cell-blood-muscle, Cell and its structure,
Cell potentials, Cell membrane structure and substance transfer through
membranes, regulation of fluid and electrolyte balance in the body, membrane
potential, formation and transmission of action potential, excitable tissues,
skeletal muscle physiology , smooth muscle physiology, blood physiology,
cardiac muscle physiology, coronary and peripheral circulation, s, muscle
contraction mechanism, peripheral nervous system, sympathetic nervous system,
parasympathetic nervous system, pain , endocrine physiology will be examined in
detail.
