The aim of this course is
to teach to understand and explain the biological processes that take place in living
organisms within the framework of the laws of physics. It is aimed to provide students
with the ability to comprehend the basic concepts of biophysics, biophysical events
in cells and nervous systems, energy transformations, biological effects of radiation
and physical methods used in medicine. Thus, students gain the competence to relate
and interpret biological systems with physical principles.
