Students will write a thesis under the supervision of faculty advisor and include a literature review, data collection, analysis, results and discussion sections for the field they intend to work within. During this process, students will collaboratively generate a scientific publication with their faculty member of choice. This way, students will have the opportunity to gain research experience with a faculty member. Also, students will learn how to complete an ethics committee application prior to conducting their research. In addition, students will search for appropriate journals to send their work for publication and organize their paper according to the journal’s author information. Research conducted in this course can be either quantitative, qualitative, or mixed methods.
