This course is the second part of social psychology. In the first part PSYC205 we focused on individuals in social contexts with their social roles, group processes, and intergroup relations. Other areas of study  included research methods, attitudes, social perception, conformity, leadership, group dynamics and the establishment of norms, emphasizing their effects on the individual. 

In this second part we will focus on  the following topics including self-concept, self-esteem, and gender identity and its elements such as conformity, compliance, and obedience, processes that influence social behavior, altruism, causes and control of aggression, and group performance, including group decision-making and leadership.
