The goal of this course is to provide psychology candidates an understanding of student developmental characteristics and learning processes. The relationship between education-psychology, the definition and function of educational psychology, key concepts of learning and development, developmental characteristics (physical, cognitive, emotional, social, and moral development), learning theories, the reflection of learning theories on the educational process, effective learning, factors influencing learning (motivation, individual factors, group dynamics, and their influence in the classroom) will be covered. Educational psychology is the application of psychological principles in education. The overall goal is to improve our learning methods.
