Human development, thought and language, social effects, personality and its assessment, clinical psychology, psychotherapy techniques, stress and stress management along with information processing will be covered in this course. This course is the continuation of Introduction to Psychology I (PSYC125). In this course, while key skills necessary in the field of psychology will be transmitted to students, current modern approaches will be discussed in addition to development, personality, social psychology, and mental disorders from a historical development perspective. In this class, language and thought, motivation and emotion, gender, individual differences, personality, social psychology, stress, health, coping, mental disorders, and psychotherapy techniques will be introduced as a foundation for future classes.
