This course is the continuation of PSYC303 and is designed to teach the basic tenants of personality.  Throughout the semester, we will be looking at personality from the different schools of psychology. We will be covering personality theories by Neo-Analysts (Harry Stack Sulllivan, Erich Fromm), Attachment Theorists (Bowlby,  Ainsworth, Bartholomew & Horowitz), Cognitive Behavioral Theories (Beck, Ellis, Lazarus), Trait and Factor Theories (Cattell, McCrae & Costa), Positive Psychology (Seligman), and Eastern Based Philosophies (Buddha, Siddharta Gautama, Confuchius, Laozi).  The course is based primarily on character analyses per school of psychology so that students can get a better understanding as to how psychologists analyze personality.
