Evolutionary psychology is a way of thinking about psychology in general, rather than being a subfield of psychology. Traditional psychology is a very lively and rich field, but it is often criticized for not having an overarching theory of "mental design". Evolutionary psychological approach is an approach that tries to make up for this deficiency. In addition, the solid knowledge of traditional psychology in areas such as perception, thinking, learning, motivation, and social behavior becomes more meaningful when considered from an evolutionary perspective. The main aim of this course is to reveal the important role that evolutionary psychology plays in understanding human psychology. In addition, it is aimed to gain a detailed theoretical and empirical depth of view with the EP course.
